As a Project Leader, you are responsible for the implementation and management of national and international client projects. You will actively work on-site within interdisciplinary teams with colleagues from Platinion and/or our parent company, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). You will structure your projects and plan the necessary resources. You will coordinate your project colleagues and will be actively involved in the operational project business, working closely with our clients to develop and present superior IT strategies, concepts, and solutions by leveraging your technical background, your understanding of economic connections, and your analytical and conceptual skills. You will support your clients in committees (e.g., steering committees), present your solutions, and agree on further steps.
Your typical responsibilities will include:
- Optimization of the level of IT added value
- Restructuring of core IT processes
- IT project management and quality assurance
- Analysis and evaluation of IT architectures
- Software/platform evaluation and selection
- IT due diligence
You should have the following professional background and personal skills:
- Five or more years of relevant practical experience in consulting and the execution of operational and strategic IT implementation projects
- Experience in IT organization and process development
- Management experience as responsible project leader of (client) teams
- Experience in resource planning and line management
- An outstanding university or college degree in information technology, business management, or a related area
- Analytical skills, a structured working style, organizational skills, and intellectual agility
- Business-fluent written and spoken German and English language skills
- Teamworking, communication, and presentation skills
- A self-confident and convincing manner
- Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel
- Relevant experience in the banking, insurance, utilities, and telecommunication sectors is a plus
