At Platinion, you will work actively on national and international projects in interdisciplinary teams with colleagues from Platinion GmbH and/or The Boston Consulting Group on-site at the client's premises. Your technical expertise and project experience allow you to take over content-related management and coordination of small teams (Platinion employees, clients, or external partners).
Typical tasks of our technology experts include the following:
- You will analyze application landscapes and identify weak points and optimization options
- Together with the client experts, you will develop a target architecture based on a detailed current-state analysis that optimally supports the client's business and IT strategy
- You will develop Internet strategies for our clients. Your role will be to survey and present the current technical situation and identify options for the implementation of a modernized Internet presence
- You will collaborate on the cost estimate and preselection for software solutions to be implemented, support the client in selecting a suitable implementation partner, and support the introduction of the system
- You will optimize the client's application development process, introduce standard processes (e.g., Function Point and COCOMO), and monitor and support the operational implementation
You should have the following professional background and personal skills:
- A university or college degree in a mathematical-scientific field, information technology, or business management
- Three or more years of practical experience in IT consulting, professional software development, or IT project management
- Experience as project/team leader, management of small to medium-sized project teams (with three or more members)
- Extensive technical expertise (comprehensive architecture know-how; object-oriented programming languages; database design and systems; component technologies; XML standards; current technology trends)
- Expertise in project planning, management, and controlling
- Knowledge of common development methods and tools
- Experience in requirements and configuration management
- Knowledge of quality and risk management procedures
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
- Business-fluent written and spoken German and English language skills
- Distinct client- and results-orientation
- Teamworking, communication, and presentation skills
- A confident and convincing manner
- Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel
- Relevant experience in the banking, insurance, utilities, and telecommunication sectors is a plus
