After completing his training with the BHF Bank, Christoph Geier studied business informatics at the University of Mannheim. During several internships in combination with his freelance work, he discovered his interest in management consulting already during his studies.
At the beginning of 1993, Christoph joined The Boston Consulting Group′s Frankfurt office, where he worked in the fields of financial services, IT, and high-tech. The content of the projects were, amongst others, business and IT strategy, process optimization, and restructuring. He was able to gain additional expertise in various post-merger integration projects.
During his time at BCG, Christoph enhanced his IT and re-engineering skills by earning his PhD at the University of Hohenheim Germany, while maintaining his professional consulting career.
In 1999, he began working for Pixelpark AG in Berlin, where–in his function as CTO and Member of the Board–he was responsible for the company's global expansion in technological competency, in addition to product development and R&D management.
At the end of 2001, Christoph joined Platinion GmbH to promote the business objectives of the young company.
