Hagen Pfeiffer studied economics and computer science at the University of Kiel. After completing his MBA at Indiana University, he earned his PhD in business informatics at the University of Bern.
Hagen joined The Boston Consulting Group at the end of 1991, and since then has worked for clients in highly varied business fields: in the banking, high-tech, chemical, and paper industries as well as the insurance and energy sectors. In 1997, he spent a year working in the BCG office in Bangkok.
At the beginning of 1999, Hagen took over the position of Director of Corporate Strategy for Daimler-Chrysler Services. His field of responsibility included strategy development in financial services and IT services, as well as the operational business in telematics.
Since the foundation of Platinion in 2000, Hagen has been responsible for Platinion's continuing development as CEO.
