Peter Löffler, Managing Director
After studying economic science in Augsburg and Munich, he started working as self-employed IT-Consultant before developing IT concepts and tools for the financial industry at The Boston Consulting Group.
Afterwards he joined Bain & Company and developed strategic concepts in several industries in Europe and Australia, before he followed his passion for IT and started at Platinion in 2001. As Principal at Platinion he focused on IT in the energy industry and contributed to the foundation and development of the Energy Praxis Area.
At the end of 2007, Peter Löffler took over the position of Chief Financial Officer for Sakonnet Technology, a provider of Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems with offices in London, New York and Rio de Janeiro. His responsibilities included IT Infrastructure & Hosting, Service Desk, and Consulting, as well as Finance and Administration.
Since February 2011, Peter Löffler works as Managing Director for Platinion again.
